Iphone 5 Over rated

new to this forum,but i bought a s3 last week after having apple phones for years,i loved the iphones ,3gs and 4 as at that time,they were miles ahead of the market,but the 4s just brought siri and the 5 in my opinion is playing catch up.When i got the 3gs and 4 i was happy with it and loved new design and features,but when i got 5 i was bored in a week,so then decided to ditch apple.But crazy thing is all my mates thought i was mad going from 5 to s3,apple have people brainwashed and people still think they best fone out there.The s3 screen size ,qualitity and custimization is amazing.Apple owners dont know what they missing out on,
 
I also had an Iphone 4 before my GS3, i was too disappointed when iphone5 came out....so i got the GS3, then weeks later i also got the gn2...best phone i ever owned, but ther IPhone still a solid well made phone, its all about choices...enjoy your samsung :)
 
how you fine note 2,i was going to get note,like big screen but just would suit me mobility wise,i just think apple arent innovating like they used to,for the qst time they behind android devices
 
back when the OG iphone, 3GS, and 4 were released the iphone didnt have any legit competitors. now they're in a fiercely competitive market with samsung, LG, HTC, and others and they dont seem to be doing so well and will have to drastically change to stay afloat.
 
I would not say overrated, just different strokes for different folks. Some people can only handle the Iphone. Our family has 4 androids and 1 iphone5 because of personalities for the most part.

when i was trying to decide on the upgarde from my EVO...
had 2 choice:

GN2 $299
or
SG3 $50 and Nexus7 $200

i was really wanting to get the GN2.
but i am so glad i got the SG3 + N7 combo.

i can carry the sg3 easily... and have the N7 for gaming and work and better web surfing and reading news.

i can watch movies on N7 and talk/play on sg3 ;):p
 
note 2 nice,was going to get it,but choose s3 instead,i still think iphone overrated,i know they simpler to use,but look at the hassle there is to turn off wifi ,3g etc,no pull down menu for that ,i believe some people like iphones,and some android,but apple used to have alot features that most fones hadnt got,thats what attracted me to 3gs and 4 ,i was a through apple fan,loved them and told everybody there was no comparision to android,used my mates s3 and i had to change,the iphone felt so stale and boring after it.Apple and samsung like bmw and mercedes,what ever persons like,but there is no doubt they are falling behind with features.They wana be careful are they end up like nokia,they had market for years
 
question for u ceva,how do i udate to 4.1.2 ,i have 4.1.1 and when i try update on fone or through kies it says i have up to date software,its sim free,not tied to network,

It depends on if samsung have rolled it out in your area. You can flash it usin Odin though.

@Apple. How funny is thier latest tv ad where they imply that they invented in-call ambient noise cancelation (that tiny hole [a mic'] at the top of our s3 to the right of the headphone socket lmao.
My 2011 Sony had that n im sure phones had it before that.
Innovation lol :)
 
I don't let it bother me personally, let people have whatever phone they want. I did reaserch and got the best phone available at the time (The S3)

Each to their own & all that.
