iPhone losing it's edge

I do love the fact that I can plug my 32gb iPod classic into my '07 honda civic and control it with the steering wheel.

But my Inc plugs in just as easily, through the 3.5mm aux port. And newer cars and stereos have bluetooth tech which makes 'plugging in' and 'docks' and 'connectors' absolutely old news. Who wants to plug something in when it can connect wirelessly over bluetooth? NOBODY. That stuff is old news.

I really do love and own many Apple products but I think Jobs made a HUGE mistake in getting married to ATT, especially for so long. I suffered with a BB Storm for almost 2 years hoping that it would be half as good as an iPhone (not!), or at least tide me over until the iPhone finally came to Verizon. Well now that I have this Incredible I love it so much that I don't think you could give me an iPhone for free!

Question of the Day: Does Froyo Make You Want to Get an Android Phone?

"Speaking as an iPhone 3G user not entirely in love with AT&T or Apple these days, Android is looking like a more and more attractive option. There are still a lot of issues holding me back from making the switch, however. I don't want to have to pay for apps I've already bought twice, for example, and switching platforms will make me do that. And I'm sort of trapped to Apple's ecosystem to a certain point with stuff like the Remote app controlling iTunes streaming to my stereo connected to an Airport Express."

The iremote thing was an issue for me too... Up until the point I downloaded itunes remote app for my incredible! Seriously works flawlessly. Don't let that hold you back- android seriously is a better platform at this exact point in time, and i can only see it improving from here. The apps are top notch. Theres a couple thing s missed from apple, but its very minimal

Apple will remain a strong competitor, but I think they are not taking Android seriously enough. Many of the things that they said were "too complicated" for users are commonplace tasks now, and you can see them adding support for these tasks with OS4. The one thing I think is hurting them more than featureset is their app store policies, coupled with restricting the developer tools.

Oh they are taking them seriously. One big lawsuit seriously. They are scared of Google so they put it against HTC though. Will be a fun story to watch.

Unless of course Microsoft 2.0 oops i mean apple wins. Then we are all screwed. I will retaliate in a way that i cannot share with you guys.

They are even getting pwned by Microsoft and companies alike in the mp3 player industry.

This company is in trouble - sell their stock while you can.

i don't know who's supplying you with this hilarious info, but it is absurdly wrong. apple owns 90% of the mp3 player market as of the latest npd sales numbers. microsoft has 2%...
