Help IPhone pictures

My phone won't open any photos sent to me from an iphone, it's telling me that there is "no app to open this type of file"

Any ideas???

Any idea what the file format is?. Png? Jpg? Etc.

Are you viewing them straight from the message or saving them first?

It's ok, I have it sorted now. They where all coming in "photo.jpg" and had to be renamed and I was doing it wrong.
