Help iPhone videos won't play

For some reason I have problems playing videos sent to me via MMS from iPhones. Sometimes they play, sometimes they don't. When they don't play they show up in a strange format with a small thumb but no video and no sound (screenshot). I've tried saving the videos to my SD card without success. I use GoSMS Pro. Anyone else have this issue?

I have a similar problem. Everyone in my family uses iPhone except for me. When they send me a video, I see a preview photo with the play button. But when I tap the button it just shows a bunch of pictures. I downloaded Mobo Player but it doesn't help either. Any ideas?

Try another video player? I use Wondershare Player. Much better than Mobo.
