I just came home from a 1 week out of state trip. I traveled from WA through ID & MT to WY. My SGS which I've loved since selling my iphone did not perform as well as a friends iphone 3GS. I was very disappointed with multiple issues which I think AT&T is to blame. They've catered to iphones (I understand since they were the first to have a true smart phone) so much that my android still suffered in remote areas. I ran side by side tests along the route which included Internet...GPS...Maps (I loved seeing the blue dot again...Mainly because it was spot on). The iphone would have a signal while my SGS had no service. Do you think it's possible that the towers have better iphone support?
I was embarrassed to say the least.
