Help iplayer - Adobe Flash Error 'The content is not supported'

[graves_x]

Hi, I got my HTC wildfire yesterday and all is fine, but when I try and watch something on iplayer (in wifi area) it brings up the programmes and it appears to be working, but when I click play or 'play in full screen' it seems to buffer a bit then comes up with a yellow triangle. If I click on it I get an error:

"Adobe Flash
The content is not supported"

As its anew the phone is running 2.22.405

Any ideas ??

is it an application or are you using the web ?
what the web address
hope you know the wildfire doesn't have flash only flash lite and most things that require flash will not work.

Ah right, I'm trying to access it through the web site, not an app. and no, I wasn't aware of the flash / flash lite thing...

what the website address ?

ok the URL is :

BBC iPlayer - Help - Not Supported

I pick any programme its starts to load I get the siwrly cirle to show progress,
the programme splash screen appears with buttons to play or play in full screen, but when I click it tried for a few seconds then the yellow triangle appears.....

its because the wildfire has a few small CPU and cannot handle flash.
Also the fact that it doesn't even have a GPU makes it worse
