Help IR blaster double inputs

My IR blaster works (using htc app) but every time I press the volume buttons it increases/decreases the volume twice. If I try to input channel numbers the first number I press is entered twice and the second number can only be input once since my tv only allows 3 digits.

It seems like all the buttons when pressed actually press twice on a single press.

Anyone encounter this before?
 
I have a harmony touch remote and usually this means the repeater setting for the remote is incorrect. Have you definitely selected the correct model of tv that you have. Not sure if you can manually change the repeater setting within the app. My Panasonic tv used to do this, I contacted harmony and they altered the setting within profile. Sorry but not sure how to do this within app. Check you have selected correct model of tv. Good luck.
 
Should have added that I also bought the smart ir remote anymote last week on google play for about four pounds. It can be programmed to work most devices. I even got it to work on a fan that I have in the bedroom that I had lost the remote for. It allows programming macros in as well to work multiple devices although I haven't had time to play about with that part yet.
Worth considering
 
The issue is most people will pick the first profile that works with the device, and often the button that the profile picker gives you isn't one that exhibits that issue as clearly as the volume.

For the television they often use something like Power On, and you cannot turn Power On and Off in as quick succession as you can change the volume or channel, so it's invisible when setting the device up. Most people will pick the first profile that turns the television on and move on to setting up their Cable Box, STB, Medea Streamer, etc.

The profiles in Sense TV also seem to be worse than in Samsung WatchON. When I set up my TV and Cable Box in WatchON, it got it right with the first or second profile, but Sense TV took an incredibly long time to get the right profile.

I also have the Volume Issue with double presses.
