Is Apps2Sd worth it for the Note

My new Note arrived last week and I charged it, downloaded ICS and factory reset before starting to load all my apps. I had thought that if I ticked to download all my apps that what would happen but it didn't. I wasn't too disappointed as I have found that I don't need all my old apps as some functions are built in to the Note.

My question is whether it is worth using Apps2SD on the Note. Coming from the Desire the storage seems incredibly high! After installing a lot, but not all, of my apps I have a mind-boggling 1.3 Gb left compared with 21 Mb on the Desire. I can't see any benefit to moving apps to the SD card but wondered if there is any good reason to do so.

I'm enjoying the Note greatly with no problems so far apart from not being able to restore my profiles in Tasker.

Well it would not be worth it for me since I have less free space on the sd card (internal and external) than in the system partition ;)

Eric Ritchie.

Apps2SD good for unrooted phone. If you have rooted note use Link2SD. But I think you have sufficient space for install apps.
If you like to use Link2SD you have to create a 2nd partition on your SD card.

I have over 100 downloaded apps and loads of app space left. I don't think I will ever need to move apps to SD space.

I've come to the same conclusion. I have finished loading it (although I'm sure I'll find more apps!) and I have 0.97 gb left. I just have this urge to put stuff on the Sd card - comes from doing battle with storage on the Desire for too long!!!

Not worth it, IMHO, unless you installed >2GB of apps in your Note, which is, highly unlikely unless you are game addicts
