Root Is Cyanogenmod possible on this phone?

I'm considering getting the Ascend but I want to know what my options are if I do. Anyone know?

I don't think its possible its not listed under supported devices on their site

By far it's possible guy's, the Cynogen mod team would just have to develop it. We need to rally a bunch of Ascend users and request that they make a port of cynogen for the ascend
