Is everyone having problems with Qik?

Not that i use the feature all that often, but the Epic has a Video chat feature called Qik which lets me video chat with others who also have this feature. Granted you have to have 3G strength at min, and really need 4G to have it run smooth.

Recently I opend the app up and it said there was a required update which takes you to the market to update. However after this the app seems to be screwed up now, because every time you open the app it says there is a update and direcets you to the market to update, but its just the same update. I see others who posted reviews saying they are having this same problem.

I was just wondering if everyone is having this glitch or just a few of us?

Is there any other app out there that does well with video chat? If so can i get a name of that app, because i do use it from time to time.

there's not really anything that works perfect right now, but tango is an app that works across a few platforms. So if someone with an iphone has it you can video chat with them as well

FRING works well. OoVoo works good too across multilpe platforms including Windows OS.
Imovicha works OK too

I experienced the same issue that u have. I got fed up and just uninstalled Qik then reinstalled it again via the Android market>sprint apps

Well a few days ago I looked in the market and there was an app called Qik for Sprint, I have an Evo so I don't know if they are just using the same app now because the Qik for Evo is gone from the market.

Doesn't the Epic have Qik preinstalled? Are you rooted?
