Is it just me today? or is verizon 3g network slow as hell?

Are you guys having any issues in North East/Tri State area of NYC/NJ ?
Im not getting MMS, can't download attachments, and internet is bogged down like a hooker after a long night. I wanted to know if it's just me, or if other people are having the same issues?

Could it be all the droid X users bogging down our network ? lol.
 
I'm in pennsylvania, about 30 miles north of philly. I've ran the speed test app and at around -85db, my average, I get about 1mbps download speeds. I have seen it download at 2.4 at full reception, -65db
 
It's me. I'm using my phone as a hot spot for the entire city of Cincinnati. Sorry.

No not really. My phone is working fine. Empty your cache, do all that stuff, reboot. Try it all and report back.
 
It must be the update!!! Im gonna go blog that the OTA is out now!!!

By 3pm EST everyone will be reporting that the OTA is out in northeast.

This made me laugh cuz you know that's the first thing everyone is thinking. The funniest part is alot will believe that.

Start it out something like this: "Slow connection speeds and lack of MMS may lead people to believe we are getting the Froyo we've all been waiting for."

lol. Well i didnt even think of the "supposed update" until you guys mentioned it. I was just bitching and mad about the internet being so slow. It's not just the internet actually, i'm getting download failed on all MMS messages, and getting download failed when opening my standard MAIL app (it says general failure, could not download message) and for MMS i'm getting (general sms failure). weird. after a reboot, i'm still getting the same results.
 
My download speeds are great.

I'm on AT&T, live in central North Carolina, do not have an Incredible and am currently connected to my WiFi.

I know, I know... I'm super helpful. You don't have to thank me.

Yeah dude, i'm in North East New Jersey, and I have the Mobile widget on my home screen. It's toggled on but there is no network available. I went to settings, then wireless and mobile networks, and I see that the mobile network is checked off, but it says "Connecting".

WTF! :(

I used to know a site that showed where and when 3G services were down in real time. Covered all the major carriers. Lost the link on a re-install though. Anyone else have or know this site?
 
I'm in Oklahoma city, Ok. And my speeds have been slow since last night. I came here to see if anyone else had this problem. What is Verizon doing now...:mad:

but really its been whacky here the last couple days to for me in NW Ohio. Few other vzw friends have experienced the same thing
 
Ditto in VA. Noticed it yesterday and today, but thought it was because I work in a bunker. It's even worse than usual. Of note: we just got a severe thunderstorm warning across the network here, so maybe all the wind is blowing our fat data pipes around.
 
Am in new york queens and in some parts its sooo slow especially in my house.It freezes or doesn't load.. I get angry sometimes because I thought it was the fastest network. Then when I go to manhattan, wow its pretty fast. It depends where you live in.
