Or does android community seem to have a lot of "pervs".... As in all these apps of women bouncing or half naked women as their wallpapers.... Why does some body need an app that has a women shaking her ass with glitter?

I'm not a prude and I do appreciate the female form, but I've never understood the need to have half naked women draped all over my homescreens so I'm kind of in agreement. Each to their own though.

Maybe the apps you speak of are more commonplace on Android as anyone can stick an app on the market and I believe Apple vet stuff before it goes on their App store?

To be fair, before Apple clamped down on what was allowed on their store, I remember Apple's app store used to be full of this kind of stuff.

My wallpaper is just landscapes, etc. But I see (non-porn) semi-nudes as just another art form. Looks great. Makes me smile on a dreary day, etc.

Sleaze, like much in life, is in the eye of the beholder. Moreover, what someone chooses as their background wallpaper is a purely personal choice. Some people like cute kittens, others pretty girls.

And most just move from one type of background to another over time.. there's a lot out there and a lot to create, a lot of things to take pics of and use, etc.

Only thing I can't stand is live wallpaper. I just don't get it with that.. but again, as you say it's in the eye of the beholder.

If you are comparing this to Apple, all of the apps for Apple are moderated the same way. Android apps allow you to customise which maturity level you want. By default it is the highest which allows everything.

You can set the maturity level for your daughter's device so that she only sees the more tamer apps

Indeed.. I've just seen one on the Google Play(I hate that name) called Sexy girl live wallpaper, permissions are, services that cost you money, GPS location, full internet access, phone calls. All the wallpapers from the same "developer" have these permissions.
