Root Is it possible to find someone to root my phone?

Some steps not too understand during rooting.

I have plug my phone to the PC, go into Device Manager, but I don't see "other Device"

I can only see HTC Android Phone USB Device

is this the same? when i right click it , I don't see "Update Driver Software"

what should i do?

my phone is not a Branded Phone, is that mean i don't need to create Gold Card?

If anything happen during the root process, can I just do Recovery on the HBoot screen and start all over agian?

or, i need to do Factory reset?

Rooting either works or doesnt work generally. I dont think there will be any half measures that need recovering from.

Now I am in the Hboot screen, plug my phone with USB to the computer, i can't see my phone show up on the Device manager, what should i do?

I have never sync my phone to my computer. this is my first time.

HTC Sync is installed, and plug in my phone. check off "htc sync" on my phone, but unable to detect the device. at the same time, my computer popped out error msg "some problem occur during the install, no usb device can be found"

what should i do now?

Well HTC sync should be uninstalled via control panel so just drivers remain.

Do this. If error persists, remove the device in dm and reinstall hboot drivers

Yes, i did read through SUroot's guide couple times. but don't know my phone didn't show up on Device Manager after I plug in the phone to PC. Will need to remove everything and start again

Reading through the guide, need to clarify some steps first.

For Step 3) Connect your device in Recovery mode and mount as USB mass storage
--> Recovery mode = Power+volume Down ? where the Hboot screen is?

For Step 4 - am I connecting my phone with USB with the SD card on the phone?
Should I delete everything on my SD card before I start?

What does "boot to CD" mean? I have burn the GParted on a CD, but don't know what to do next

Stick it in your cd driven, restart your PC, and choose boot from cd.

Yes card partition first. Back up sd content to pc first.

Press power on the recovery option in hboot

Like I said, backup SD contents to PC incase it wipes it.
