Root is it possible to install ROM on sd card?

hi guys,is it possible to install/run ROM on sd card?like boot from usb/bootable cd/dvd floppy option in windows pc.because our phone internel memory very low.:hmmmm:
 
Its not practical actually...running a rom from sd will be slow compare to nand.
If u r running out of space then why don't u use Link2SD or A2SD, whatever u like.
Low Internal memory is obsolete for me,lol..
 
There's work going on at expermntal level at P500 development forum @XDA, called "MultiROM" go there and read deeply... .
