Hello all

2 things to ask.

1st - when ending a call on the s2, is there any way of changing the 'hanging up' notification to something else, like 'ending call' or similar?

2nd - Is there any way of having a 'data' toggle switch alongside 'wifi, gps, bluetooth, silent mode, auto rotation' on the swipe down menu / notification area like on GB 2.3.5 incorporated on ICS 4.0.3 ?

Thanks for all your replies

2nd question:
i know you can do that in checrom v6, and probably many other roms, but dont think you can normally do that.

1st question: u may try installing other calling app and see whether it helps

2nd question: u may install other widgets such as widgetsoid or gowidget

For question 2, he wants it in the pull down menu. I think you either need root or a custom ROM for that. The widgets are only for the homescreens.

Cheers

Widgetsoid actually allows the toggles to be placed at the notification/pull down menu as I have tried it before. It is quite convenient to use without rooting necessity :)

When you say data toggle, are you referring to airplane mode? I have Andy Rom (AOKP) and you can add that to the Power Menu (long press power button). In GB Firmwares, if you were rooted, you could use Jkay themes to allow you to add these options but Jkay hasn't been released for ICS yet, hopefully soon.

Never saw that option in widget soid and I use it. Will have to try it. Although maybe its for the paid version. Using the free one currently.

You may just utilise the free version as the features are almost similar to the paid/donate version. I'm using the free one as well and you may use the following snapshots as reference to setup your toggles. Have fun;)

Yeah... figured it out. It was in "notification" which appeared when it was updated months ago. Since I already set up mine on the homescreens, never actually played with it.

Nice idea actually.

Swordfish, the data toggle can be placed on the homescreen. Its just a button that you can use to switch on/off data line without pressing the power button and doing from there. Widgetsoid has that. 3G watchdog pro also have that widget now.

I have been using this widget for the past 9 months since I get my s2 and I find that it actually consume very little battery life. You may want to try it on your own, it's free after all
