Help Is it possible to tether the android to a wireless router?

LinuxFreakD... do you know of another app that I could use on an LG Enlighten? Loaded FoxFi but it can only create a bluetooth connection on this phone. I haven't found any way to root it either.
Thanks for the tutorial... it's exactly what I've been looking for. Any help would be appreciated.

If anything i will just verify what has already been said. What i know from personal experience is that you can tether verizon wireless broadband and use multiple devices. I tether my phone and use my laptop to take exams while my daughter is on her tablet and my wife is on her tablet. Both of them are streaming on youtube simultaneously. In other occurrences we are streaming on our ps3 watching a movie while my daughter is surfing on her tablet simultaneously all with just the tether from my verizon phone.
