does anyone know if you can write code for android os, ie, an app, that can control the backlights of the bottom keys (the menu, home, back, and search buttons)? I think it would be way sexy to write a quick little script that makes the lights go in a pattern

I think you guys get the idea. Blinking lights on the bottom, knightrider style. I wish I kept up my coding skills and knew how to do this myself, but, alas, I suck.

This would make for some serious a little sexytime.

Do you mean specifically is it possible to control each individually? Controlling all four together has been accomplished with bln and blinky but doing so requires kernel modifications as well as the controlling apps...the same would be true for controlling them individually...if it's even possible.
