Root Is it safe for me to factory reset like this?

Okay, my Samung Galaxy 551 was rooted before and now it's been unrooted. I think i removed two apps but went back to my backup and restored them. However! I am not sure. I think the app 'allshare' is missing, but I don't know if I had it in the first place.

Also, I know a similar post to this said to do this all through CWM, but CWM doesn't work on the 551 model.

Do you think it's safe to factory reset, or should i do a root again and flash the stock rom?

Not sure why you unrooted the phone. As far as restoring apps if they were built into the ROM (/system/apps) then a Factory restore may bring them back. You shouldn't need CWM to do a factory reset as CWM is a recovery. Re Rooting the phone and flashing a rom will do the same thing however with the added recovery it's a far better option than not having anything to fall back on.

Flash a stock ROM with Odin .. that should fix most problems if you have any . allshare is part of stock ROM in all regions .
