is it safe to format internal memory?

hey fellaz

just rooted my phone and flashed a.custom rom.

i have no apps on my phone besides the one that came with new rom. "system apps"

i have some pictures, music, and some downloaded app apk's on my internal storage that ill save on my computer which ill put back on my removable sd card.

so after i do that is it safe to go into settings.storage and format my.internal storage?

i asume that its fine but just checkin
