There are a lot of new devices comming out right now, so you will see a lot of new ports and experiments. Great time to own an og evo. Once the new phones have been out for a hot minute, the roms will get finished, more refined.
Aamikam will get this stuff done eventually, school comes first. Let him get settled into the new semester schedule, get some strange, and he'll be back on track.

Do you not get any emails until you turn mobile data back on, or what?

Calls and texts still make it through as usual, correct?

Ya, no email with the mobile data off along with no Internet use. Texts and calls all ok. With the mik 3d ROM the quick settings In the notification bar are very useful and make turning settings on and off only about 2 clicks away....I was using juice defender, but noticed my phone was acting a little weird, it would get sluggish and wasn't running as smooth as with It off. Before I rooted i was running it and it was ok, it just saves your battery cause it turns off mobile data on screen off. Idk I might give it another go and see how it goes....
