Root Is it worth updating to GB?

What all is different in the new GB vs Stock Froyo? I am now running a theme over stock with most icons & battery indicator changed. I like the way it runs now. Please post what differences GB has and is it worth updating. Better is a subjective term and new is not always better....

I already have the three zip files from P3 and the deodex file downloaded on my PC, just trying to decide if it is really worth it. Thanks!

the GB version of blur is far superior to the Froyo blur. It runs much faster. if you are going to deodex it i suggest using this one instead of P3's deodex file. http://androidforums.com/droid-x-al...odexed-gingerbread-4-5-588-a.html#post2571731
It includes the blur framework.

The biggest thing that I've noticed is that everything is much faster and smoother. I especially notice it scrolling web pages.

It was smooth but it sucked for tab browsing which I use a lot. I only ran it about 24 hours before I couldn't stand it anymore and sbf'd back.

I agree with RMM. Scrolling seems smoother most everywhere. Only problem I got with GB is some apps havent been updated to work correctly yet.

agree and there is a lot of internal improvements that you wont see but still improve the phones OS.
