Apps Is MackBook good for developing Android apps?

I was planning to buy MackBook for android development. Is MackBook good for the development of Android apps?

I found MackBook in my budget - MackBook pro-2012 model with specifications 4 GB RAM, i5 2.7 GHz processor, 500 GB HDD.

Is this model good for developing android apps?

I believe Macs can run Android Studio, so yeh it should be OK, although I'm not a dev.

I suggest to pick the Apple-Macbook from Amazon(http://www.amazon.in/Apple-Macbook-...scsubtag=51ede8bc-65db-43a1-beaf-8c19d7b1788d). Even though 8 GB is recommended 4 GB would work fine for Android app development. Moroever, it has 500 GB hard drive which would be sufficient for your work.

I don't think 4GB would suffice. Mine really struggles with that.
