Is Motorola DX2 a piece of crap?

I say yes, after having the phone for almost two months the problems just keep adding, the one i hate most is the freezing. now another problem came up today, looses gps signal most of the time. this phone is a piece of shit and i can't wait for the next iphone to come up so i can switch from shitty motorola phones to the amazing iphone by apple. :D:D
 
Step 1. Factory reset your phone. Download apps with some time in between to see if a specific app is causing the problem. If problems go away, enjoy your working Droid X2. If problems, go to step 2.

Step 2. Call Verizon, tell them in a professional way the problems you have with the phone, and ask for a replacement. Tell us if anything has changed.
 
I gotta say too, I bought one about a month ago, I had problem after problem, finally I brought it back and got another X2, still new (they were gonna give me certified used but I bitched them out) but the new one I got I have been using since the 16th (Saturday) Besides a few quirks when I first got it, it hasn't given me a single problem since, no RR, no freezing, no sound issues (that I have noticed) nothing at all. Maybe try and get another one through warranty if you can? Just a suggestion.
 
warranty replacement isn't going to help. GB update or another ROM might.

I have gotten maybe 3-4 freezes-->resets since taking ownership 2 weeks ago.

I'm not even going to mention the other REAL problem out of fear of harassment from the denial mafia.
 
Agree with thecoog... My first X2 had bad phantom effects out of the box and the screen would shake. I got a another new one sent to me and I've had no problems since!

Typically when you call a phone crap, people who own the phone tend to get VERY defensive (as seen above).

If you were to offer a review instead of just thread-crapping I would leave this open. Otherwise, I see no need to keep this thread open as it seems that it's only intent is to get people worked up.
