Root Is overclocking possible with GB 2.3?

Hey guys, i can see this community is quite active and i could use some help.
Just bought my Optimus One p500, and i saw that it was updated to GB 2.3.3
Now i saw some tutorials on overclocking 2.2 Froyo, so i was just wondering if its safe to overclock my phone, and if it is, do you guys have any tutorials or know of any guides i can follow?

Yes, but then that depends on which ROM you're using. You cant change the clock speed for stock ROM. Most custom ROMs can be overclocked.

Like Gremaldin said, Overclocking is possible with most of the custom ROMS. You could go to the XDA developers website and they have a lots of info on Android development and you will get an idea on if you should/ shouldnot overclock!

I for one like overclocking! improves the performance like crazy!
