Sounds like a Sammy S II or Xperia Play to us. RT @sprint: Ours will have a hub for gaming, music, pictures and video. #comebackfeb24

I hope it comes to Sprint!!!! without the keyboard.
I know everyone has been griping about the lack of support on Samsung phones, but imo they still make killer phones and hopefully the Galaxy S II will be my next phone!!!
If Samsung can make a high end Samsung android with a +4.5 inch display with duel core minus a keyboard I may cop it. But I'm trying to hold off on what the Evo 2 (if it comes out) will have. And I'm HOPING it will have a bigger screen.
Hopefully the Nexus S 4G is really a re-hashed Galaxy II with stock gingerbread. The Nexus S is already quite old.
Beyond absolutely knowing that you'll get all android updates without drama, there wont be a great reason to get a Nexus S over an Evo2 in terms of features. I like the idea of stock android, but not at the price of an outdated phone.
I don't like the lack 720P recording or LED notifications either. A Sprint only iteration of Nexus S would be best, not just a port of the T-Mobile model.
Everybody seems to be talking about the "Evo 2" like it's actually something that's being released. Does anybody even really know if that's even gonna happen?
The bigger question is, if Samsung releases a Galaxy S 2 for Sprint, will they support it post sale? Will they leave customers hanging like they have with Moment, Epic, etc?

the samsung nexus s ... is built by samsung for google.
the nexus s.. is a replacement for the nexus one, which was built by htc.
nexus phones are "google" phone.. which means that google uses to test new android builds...and take full charge on upgrading the os on that line of phone... not the manufacture.
the nexus s was based on the galaxy s series by samsung.
the galaxy s II has nothing to do with nexus series phones... unless google contracts samsung to replace the nexus s with an galaxy s II type phone. but i have heard that the next nexus would go back to htc.
They may get it first, but the Galaxy S II is likely to end up on all major cell phone carriers shortly; Just like the Galaxy S is now. Galaxy S = Epic/Vibrant/Captivate/Fasinate. All the same phone (G S) on all the major carriers.
I know that the Galaxy S line of samsung phones are on all carriers. Each with its own perks making them distinct in all the carriers. I really dont think sprint will see THE Galaxy s II... It'll have a clone with its unique perk ( hopefully a Galaxy S without the qwerty slide out)
FCC already hinted that the Galaxy S II everyone is buzzing about is indeed going to AT&T here is the link :
I'm all for new phones. Specially on Sprint. I'm still debating on getting another EVO or the Epic or just hold out till the end of month to see what else Sprint announces.
Galaxy S II coming to all 4 big carriers for sure. I do wonder if sprint is getting it with a keyboard as the epic 2 Or whatever they will call the next one
