Is the Inc 2 worth it as a global phone or go with D3?

I am in need of a global capable phone for VZW since I am going to start flying all over the place with the Air Force as a flying mechanic and I'd like to have my smartphone work overseas so I can skype back home without having to hunt down a wireless connection. Anyone who has been to a deployed location will tell you that the base/post wireless connections are pretty sketch with a ton of other people using the connection at the same time and its usually pretty slow when it works at all...

Anyway, choice is between the D3 and Inc2. D2G was never a consideration but the D3 is what I was pretty much set on before I realized the Inc2 is also global capable. I still am leaning strongly towards the D3 for the slideout qwerty, duel cores and I like the ability to use the stock car dock with a case instead of having to use a clamp style universal dock with a case for the Inc2. I do know the Inc2 has more RAM though and the Sense UI is pretty slick.

Really, I am just doing all the research I can before I get the device that will literally be my portal back to talk to my wife and little girl while I am away so its pretty important to me to get the right one and I have a bad habit of just rushing into decisions. I know this forum is going to be biased but is there any real advantage to this phone over the D3?

I replaced my original Droid with the DINC2 for world travel, and have yet to find any issues with service anywhere. Germany, France, UK, Spain, Italy, Romania, Taiwan, Mainland China, Aruba, Canada and Brazil all confirmed working. As for exact locations, that I can't help ya' with, but if you're in any of THOSE places, you shouldn't have an issue, unless you're way the hell away from civilization!

Oh, and you can also unlock the phone (~$15 or $25) and use SIM cards from those countries to cut down on your bill. Verizon bends you over backwards on international data plans, so be prepared.
