What ROM are you on? Many of the current ROMs are already using the new update, and some have even stopped supporting previous versions.

That said, I'm not sure I can say what's really changed.

My reception is similar, which is fine, because it's always been good.

The battery stats can still FC some times, regardless of what people say. I had runs where I had no FC's with the battery app before, and people claimed the same thing then.

I find that on Fission and Tranq, that my phone feels very snappy, but I haven't tested other ROMs on the newest build. I can honestly say that it does feel a touch faster than before, but it could be the recent SBF I did.

Beyond that, if you're happy with how things are now, you probably don't need to. If there's a bug you're experiencing, or you use ROMs and regularly update them to current, I can't see much reason not to do the update.

It fixed my MP3 issue, it fixed my battery manager force close problem. The phone seems a bit more snappy and some have said it solve their WiFi problem. Rerooting it wasn't too difficult once I figured it out, so I didn't care about the bloat

I think the update helped alot. It fixed the issues I had with the phone. Just use Z4root and take care of the bloat. I'm now running Apex 1.3.0 and loving it. Its like I have a new phone again.

What bloat? Just rename the apk to bak and no more bloat once you're rooted. Also, the dialer is nicer, exchange works better, etc.
