Is the thickness?

about the same size as the blackberry curve 8330? looking to upgrade to the shift but just worried about thickness... I have looked and compared and everything I read says they are the same thickness. Whats your thoughts? I'm also waiting to see what comes on Feb 7th... Upgrade is March 1st.

I would say that the shift is a little bit thinner, my Dad has a red 8330 and I just compared them.

Shift is .001 thicker, according to Phone Scoop. Thats virtuallly even.

Also you think its a good phone to have for 2 years(do to upgrade changes)?

I think that the Shift is a very solid phone that could last up to two years. Of course there will always be newer and better phones coming out, so its whether or not you can bare to see the newest and greatest and not be tempted to buy one. If this is not a case for you, like it is me then yes, it should be a solid phone to use for two years.... imo.

i moved from an 8330 to a shift as well and i dont notice a difference. i would say the same
