Is their any free app just like easy root that was in the Android Market place?

I used DroidMod to root my droid and then when they quit updating their rom I downloaded RomManager and have used the roms they provide. I don't think that DroidMod is in the Marketplace anymore though.

Universal Androot

looks like the same thing, though I have no experience with it.

I have the original Droid, Build FRG01B and I just used Easy Root and rooted my phone in about five seconds.

I used universal Androot yesterday and I do not see how it could get any easier than that...and free.

I now have root access on the phone and I am burning my brain up trying to select a ROM
