flashed thru CWM recovery, cleared cache restarted and didn't work.

There is an app in the google play store called "Beats Audio Installer for CWM"
Download it
Follow Directions
It will put a zip into your SD Card
Boot into CWM
Install zip
It installs but there's no sign that says you have it. I don't really hear a big difference to be honest, maybe you will.

That link I posted is the newest from XDA Beats site too. I flashed it and it installed w/o a hitch. Don't know why you are having issues. There is not going to be an icon or anything for it either. If CWM says it installed then it did.

Flashed the version you posted to see if it was the same 1 and it disabled both the EQ for Player Pro and the other EQ app I have. It sounds good w/ headphones but I have no way to adjust the sound to get some of the bass out. Since you said that you have flashed it, what are you using to adjust your sound settings. Thanks

Ok I restored a CWM backup and re-flashed the link I found and EQ's are working fine. Ya know what's crazy? I couldn't really tell a difference with my Prevail but I can sure tell a difference w/ this Marquee. Don't know if it's the phone or the newer version of Beats. Sounds good though jammin' to some old Green Day.

Wet not that it matters but the 3/14 zip is not the latest. The one I posted is the 5.1 zip. Like I said not that it matters. But just incase

Oh, my bad. It was the newest 1 on the thread I checked. You probably got yours from a newer thread. No problemo and thanks for the heads up.
I had problems w/ both of them. lol. The one I posted makes my speakers crackle when I adjust the volume. The one that you posted disabled the EQ app that is supposed to work w/ it. I went ahead and installed a backup so I'm not using either right now which kinda sux. lol
I couldn't tell a difference using Beats w/ my Prevail but the Marquee is different. It actually worked and I could tell a slight difference. I wish I could get 1 of them to work. What EQ are you using for the version you posted??

I would love to find an EQ that works for this too. I like the Music Volume EQ since I actually get a 5 band slider but with the drivers it FC's on me every time. I love the sound I get with this, but as a musician and a bit of an audiophile I need that EQ to pull the low end out too. Does anyone have an EQ that works with the audio drivers?Oh, my bad. wetbiker i noticed your rom and kernal and the noise you spoke of. i had a noise problem in all music apps at certain times when changing anything. i changed my clock to 1300 and all was fine. i still do it. i had posted this some time ago as a kink in the armor. hope this helps you

It's weird. I was getting the clicking sound with the EQ app too when I turned the vol up or down. I went ahead and uninstalled it because I was worried that it would blow or damage my speaker. I installed the DSP pack for PlayerPro and it's working great. This little sucker will jam.

Been running the 3/14 version since last week and haven't encountered the popping sound at all, and I'm running the 1.5 hyper kernal at 1400 on performance when I play music. Perhaps just luck? Either way, I swear the 3/14 version just doesn't sound as powerful as the 5/1 version but I can use my EQ with the older one at least so I can't complain

the 5.1 version install htc apks to system/app. They dont show in app drawer but maybe one of them is an eq that just doesnt work on the phone and conflicts with others that u try to install. Just a thought

The EQ is a secondary app and will not work with the version that TryingToRoot posted. It will work with the link that I posted.
Also, Beats will not show any icon to let you know that it's installed. The only way you'll know if it installed correctly is if CWM says it did.
Try the links in this post. They have been tested my several members and all have gotten it to work.

Just got an update on the beats audio app. It updates your beats drivers through the app itself no cmw needed. It kinda sounds better but still no ability to run an eq along with it. But I did find a music player that can run its eq with it (rocket player pro)
for those that doesn't know... make sure you mount system in cwm before installing beats, even though it says it was successful, seem like the files doesn't get copied to the system correctly without doing so. when i update my beats and my equalizer fc, I just mount and reflash the older beats (wetbiker7 posted). version bo314 seems like the only one working with the equalizer. before seems like a small diff in sound , after i system mount before install i noticed a huge difference. also easier to reflash back to previous versions instead of restoring a backup, but to get rid of it completely i guess u either have to restore a backup before beats or reflashing rom and advance restore your data or can use titanium backup. ect.. pain in the arse. let me know if u find a better way to uninstall it,(always good to know) but i think i'll keep beats for now.. Hopefully this will help someone, if not. sorry for the bump.
