Is there a case that fits when using the entended battery?

I have the Droid 3 extended battery which makes the phone just a bit bigger, but means that most cases just don't quite fit properly. Is there a decently priced case out there that does?

The shell/holster combo case that Verizon sells actually fits with the extended battery. Set Your Location

I can't say that I love either one, though. I think I like the shell case better.

I havent tried this with the D3. But with other phones, like the DX, a regular case works with an extended battery IF you dont put the battery door back on the phone. The case actually does a good job of holding the battery in place.
Give it a try. Might work.

If you're going to use a case with the extended battery, then you can use the standard battery cover. Then, all the cases fit

Generally speaking, the stock battery cover ALMOST fits the extended battery anyway. It's just a bit tight, and tends to pop off sometimes (unlatch) on one side. However if you put it in a case, the stock cover will stay on just fine. Neall
