Accessories Is there a cheaper/better substitute for Zagg?

First of all, I don't want to use a case because they make the phone too bulky for me... so the best alternative will be something similar to the Zagg invisibleshield products. I don't like that texture for the touch screen, so that won't work for me. So to me, spending $25 on the whole body is a bit of a waste, especially if I'm spending $12-15 on a screen protector (from sbd).

Any suggestions?

Honestly, I've purchased several Zagg products in the past and have yet to be disappointed. The texture truly isn't that bad screen-side, and I've never had issues with unresponsiveness because of it. The price is a bit high, but if you enter their Weekly Ipad giveaway, they will email you a code that will be good for 30-50% off a future purchase.

I think I might have a 40% off code lying around if you wanted it.

Phantomskinz are $10 for screen only. You get 2 per pack, AND there is a 30% off code, so they cost you $7!!!! Same material as zagg w/o the orange peel effect.

Oh, I'm only interested in covering the back of the phone not the front. For the front, I am going to go with the ultra clear from SGP.

Yeah that looks like the same thing as Zagg stuff--my only concern w/ Zagg is the texture of the material. I have it on my laptop and its pretty "grippy." Like I can put a cell phone on top of my laptop, angle it, and it won't slide off. I don't want that for the screen--and i would only want to buy for the back/sides of the phone. Any thoughts on this?

I installed the SGP Ultra Crystal and it's awesome.
SGP Steinheil ULTRA CRYSTAL Screen Protector for MOTOROLA Droid X [Verizon]
Easy to install and $14 for a 2 pack.

A friend has the Zagg on his Droid, it looks terrible.
Wavy and not as clear.

The SGP is crystal clear, no waves.
At first, it did't feel quite the same as the glass but by the end of the
first day I was used to it and it feels fine.
