Is there a log of sent/recieved SMS anywhere??

On other phones i've had not only do you get the normal call history log but also the sms/text history too.

I'm assuming the Desire must have one i just cannot find it!

What i mean is say i've sent or recieved a text from somebody, then deleted it (cant stand 1000's of saved messages) is there another log list of these like when you go Phone > Menu > Call history

Nopes.

No log, there are however backup apps for text messages. You can then dlete them and keep a backup on the SD card.
