I'm not complaining or anything but on thee iphone all u do is doubler click the home burton and it comes up too change the song. I know u can hold down the home buttom and drag down the bar on top bar but that takes u to the music app which is kinda annoying. Is there a way o get it like the iphones?

Wow, way to be a jerk when someone asked a valid question. Yes, I too miss the iPhone's shortcut to the music controls. Some of the music aps (bTunes for one) have lock screen controls which are similar.
This is a good answer with no grump. Thanks dude!

go wireless, and get a pair of bt headphones... You can control the volume, play, pause, skip tracks fwd & backwards without ever touching the phone...

*edit* also I have my screen set to timeout after 2 mins... if I pull my phone out of my pocket and hit the power button, the screen comes on, and I can skip and go backwards from the screen lock screen

You can hit the power button twice, when it comes back up on the lock screen you can change the song easily and then drag down to unlock.

The blackberry did this the best. All you had to do was hold the volume rocker in for a second, and the song changed. I miss that.

And ohh yeah, that first response was pretty uncalled for

That's a very rude post for a person asking an honest question, joke or not (and it didn't sound like one to me anyway).

As for the OP, yes there are apps with lock screen controls including the stock Sense player. I haven't tried shake2play. I would like to see an app/player developed that has controls within the notification pull down bar...don't know if it's even possible but it would be great.

I actually liked this feature on my Blackberry as well...I've been looking for an app that could replicate this with no luck.
