Not for me, but a friend of mine and fellow admirer's power button and camera button don't work at all. He turns it on and off using the home button. Now that I have my phone just where I want it, I wanted see if I could hook him up. Or even if it's possible considering his hardware issues. His warranty's already up, so he can't bring it to metro for a new one w/o paying for it. And he can't afford it for now, hence the post! Is it even possible to boot into DL mode without the use of those buttons? Or are the buttons actually still functional for booting into DL mode/ but just deprogrammed from their original functions? Or is there a computer program that you could inject hardware solutions or a new rom indirectly? He saw mine and was like DAYMN! So, tryin' to see if I could help a brutta out. I know if you guys don't have a solution, nobody does.

no there isnt a such a thing that exist seeing how flashing stuff pretty much deals with software. if your friend wants to have regular use of all his buttons then try the Button Savior: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.smart.swkey&hl=en you dont necessarily have to be rooted to use it. and for things to get into download mode and recovery the only way to find out is by trying it out to see if it works
