Root Is there a way to enable both speakers? front and rear?

So you know how you have the front speaker for when your talking and then you have the rear speaker for when it is on speaker phone or when your listening or watching media, what I would like to know is if there is a way for when your watch or listening to media to turn on BOTH speakers so that it is louder?

Isn't the front speaker only loud enough for phone calls when you hold it up to your ear anyway? I'm fairly certain when it's on speakerphone the audio's coming out the rear

However, if you put your phone rear against a vertical surface or cup your hand around the speaker, it bounces all the audio towards you rather than it being directed away, I would guess it about doubles how loud the sound is coming towards you. For music in the car try putting it screen up in a cupholder or in the little slot in the door.

I have a case with a kick stand so I can prop it up and I'm aware of what you said but I don't want to have to do that every time as for my car I bluetooth it to my stereo

Having a kickstand is nice, but it brings to light that the charger plugs in in a terrible place, and it's nearly impossible to prop it up while it's plugged in. Given that that's the bottom in most games and fullscreen apps and they don't turn upside-down it seems like something LG should have foreseen.

I can't really think of anything else to do for volume, the front speaker is just at ear-volume, other than maybe a set of keychain speakers (you can get them on thinkgeek, I don't know anywhere else I've seen them, maybe amazon), or maybe a volume-boosting app, but that'll probably make your speakers go bad after awhile.

yeah volume controls and the charger is on the bottom when its in landscape mode lol didnt think that one through to well lol. Yeah I guess I will look into the key chain speakers

Post back and let us know how they work, I haven't actually tried them myself ;)

EDIT: Looked into the one on thinkgeek and it's terrible, in the course of your research don't buy that one that looks like a massive earbud :p But do let us know what solution you find, I could do with some louder music myself
