Help Is there a way to make the Combined View the default

I have a couple of different e-mail addresses synced with the phone and I love the ability to see them together in the same inbox using "Combined View" but I hate having to go in every time I open my e-mail app and select "Combined View" - is there a way to make it so that is the default view when I open the app? Thanks in advance.
 
I see the same problem. Whats worse is that it seems to be intermitant ... sometimes it goes.back to the combined.view.and sometimes it goes back to my exchange email view. This appears to be a bug.

I have the exact same issue, i'd some unified inbox to be the default.

It's only the default if that's what i left it on when i switched apps, and that doesn't really count.

Mine always defaults to the main account and is proving to be annoying
 
This is a known issue with the stock email, and I have this problem intermittently with K9 also. If anyone has a solution, please let us know.
 
I have no problem with my mail always defaulting to combined view for my 7 email accounts. I entered the email app as a shortcut then selected combined view. I previously used GMail but was never able to get it to work properly.
 
The fix for me was to go to the widgets and select the email account icon , that allows you to use combined view , although you cant do a send/receive from that particular view
