Root Is there a way to restore pre-root apps?

Just got done rooting for the firs time.

used:

TH3ORYROM] [GB] GINGERTH3ORY V4.5.1 MODDED LeanKernel (LKS) [6/28/2011]

Also got the radio set up.

My question is... I had a lot of apps, paid and unpaid, before rooting. None of them are there now. Are they gone forever until a buy/download them again? Or is there a way to get these back?

your paid apps will be in "my apps" in the market. you are free to redownload without paying for them again... once you buy them,theyre yours. download as many times,on as many phones as you want.

as far as other preroot apps and app data,there is no way that i know of. if someone has a way,im anxious to hear it myself

Now I just need to figure out how to get backup assistant installed so I can get my contacts back, lol.

I have it, I uploaded it for you. Put it on your SD CARD then boot in to recovery from ROM Manager, then unzip it.

u can use Titanium Backup (commonly referred as TIBU) if u are goofing with ROMS a bit.
