Hi,
Is there a way to select what numbers trigger the ringers but would be able to set a profile so that if my wife or childminder rings (in an emergency) the phone would ring for them but any other callers it would stay silent. I could do this on my blackberry but cant find this on the desire??or even an app would do if anyone knows any thanks

I do this using an application called Tasker. Its a pay for app, and quite complicated.

I basically set it to silent between x and y times, but on the event that xxx phone number calls, set to not silent for 30 seconds.

I also use it to switch on and off wifi between x and y.

It can do so many things
