Is there an advantage to moving applications to your SD card?

I have PLENTY of room on my internal memory 521 MB out of 748 MB, and I have a lot of apps.

Does doing this somehow increase the speed of my phone. Its so laggy recently so I am pulling out all the options

I have 2 programs I've downloaded that allow me to do this. (APP 2 SD Free is one of them)

i think you missed the point a little so ill ask the implied question.

In short, no, it can technically slow your phone down depending on the speed of the card, but would barely be noticeable, if at all.

If the phone is running slow, it could be due to a corrupt or bad sd card. Or need to download an app that monitors the cpu cycles and see what is using the most or using cycles when not necessary.
