Is there any gps problem in note 2

Hi, i am planning to upgrade from my old galaxy s i9000 to note 2. As you must be aware that galaxy s has horrible gps(i virtually never gets a lock), i want to know if there are similar problems in note 2. Thanks in advance.

Samsung seems to have had GPS antenna issues with various devices dating back to the old Moment. I think I had to have that one swapped 5X (maybe it was 3? who remembers) to finally get a dependable GPS. My wife's et4g (SII) GPS never worked particularly well either. I've seen no evidence here that this exists with the S3, S4 or Note lines, so maybe Samsung figured the problem (assembly? Parts sourcing?) out. The note 2 was the first Samsung device I considered buying since the Moment specifically because of all the GPS issues I experienced.

I just want to add that N2 GPS by far has been the best out of all of my previous phones and some of the newer smartphones I have tested.

Also, just something to keep in mind. You can screw up GSP performance even on N2 by not being careful with some of the "free" apps that constantly ping your location to push advertisement. Beside draining your battery, it can also affect your GPS performance.
