Help Is this a battery problem or not? help please

well i got my samsung galaxy s2 yesterday and i put it on charge before i went to bed. i woke and it is 100% and whenever i lock the phone it seems to die slowly. like every 10 minutes i loose 1% or something. what do i do? my phone is now at 40% and it has been like 3 hours or 4

Have you installed any apps that could be running in the background? How about a simple restart of the phone?

i just restarted it we'll see if it helps, the apps that are running in the background arre the ones already on the phone, and i close all the apps before i lock it

its telling me andriod os, batter used by applications 67%, what should i do

the stock rom is a huge battery drain. i flashed mine to a custom rom the same day i received the phone, and my phone with background data turned off can last me 3-4 days with light use. i can probably get 2 days from medium use.

I haven't found that to be the case with mine. 2 days of moderate use is normal for me.

Try uninstalling any apps you put on it. If that doesn't work, go to at&t store and see if they will exchange battery and/or phone. They will help u with exchanges within 30 days.
