Help Is this normal? 3% battery down when...

My Samsung Galaxy Y is just 4 days old
I charged my Galaxy Y to 100% and then made a phone call. That person didn't receive my call, so you can assume i called, it rung for 35 seconds and 5 seconds to hear the computerized message. After i Ended the call, the battery was now 97% !!!
So is that normal? Or something wrong?
At that time, i think my WIFI was ON(it is started when i unlock the phone as i use Easy Battery Saver
I also use this app for quick indication of battery.
Battery Status App
I guess some 2-3 apps services(which were added by me) were on at that time, and i can say 2 were:
Network Monitor and Whatsapp

EDIT: I had to charge my battery every 12-15 hrs as i was exploring the phone and used lots of WIFI.
Haven't used the phone much since 24 hours and battery is 28%.

EDIT 2: After heavy usage for some 20 min, battery jumped to 15% from 28.
Thanks :)
Keval

Its perfectly normal as wifi was switched on. As you mentioned 2 apps are running at that time, they keep on connected to the internet if wifi/GPRS is enabled. Disable wifi/GPRS when you don't need internet connection. My phone's battery life extended when I disabled internet on my phone. I hope this helps.
