Is this normal for the battery level.

After charging fully my green notify light comes on and my battery says 100%

But after 1 min of unplugging the usb cable it drops to 97%

I have wifi on and brightness set at middle level.

Thanks for any thoughts.

How long after it is fully charged do you disconnect the cable?

I have noticed that once fully charged it seems to start to discharge even though still connected.

So if you leave it for an hour or so it will have lost a few percent.
Bit of a pain when charging overnight. Not sure if this is considered a bug or not?

I also noticed that on mine when fully charged it will discharge even while charging.

I've only left mine charging overnight once since I got the phone and it done the same thing.
Was reading 100% when I disconnected it from the wall and then when I looked at it 2 mins later it said something like 94% and I'd not done a thing with the phone.

Yeah, I have noticed once charged and still connected it will say 100%, but it is discharging. and when you disconnect the charger you get the true battery level

I believe that once fully charged it is set to stop charging to save energy. But after fully charged your phone will have some apps running in the background which use the battery and thus the resulting drop in battery %.

That's interesting - I never realised this. It explains why I seem to get different performance from the battery when I've charged it in the morning versus having left it on charge overnight (my usual habit).

Not sure what to do about it mind as I like to leave my phone on but charging overnight. Guess I'll have to set my alarm for 4am, plug phone in and then go back to sleep for another couple of hours!!!:D

I also realised that when you have wifi on and charge it. It will never end up to 100% but only 99% (this is the case with my phone).

Bloody stupid if you ask me. What's the point in charging it at night if you wake up & its already lost a certain percent of its charge? The battery barely lasts me a day as it is! None of my other phones have done this :-/

It's an energy saving idea for the smart phone. Just passing the info on mate.
