I think you need to call them up for the model number - 9020 is SAMOLED, 9023 is SLCD I believe.
If the display with S-LCD is as good as the one I had on the Desire, you won't be disappointed. It won't have quite as high contrast or black levels, but the colour, sharpness, and colour gradations should be better than the S-AMOLED model. I was hoping for the S-LCD here in Canada, but we got the S-AMOLED version instead. I'm not really disappointed as it's a decent screen, but being a photographer I like a little more accuracy in my displays.I'm a bit disappointed to the fact that in Europe except for the UK, the Nexus S does not come with super AMOLED but S-LCD instead. Ok now, besides the better color quality of the AMOLED is there any chance that the S-LCD will have a lesser toll on the battery life ? If that's the case I wouldn't mind sacrificing vivid color screen and good viewing angles for a better battery life.. but if amoled is superior to s-lcd in all respects then what the hell where they thinking ?
