Is this phone a best kept secret or what?

My Samsung Galaxy S2 (AT&T) attacked a car and lost so I replaced it with a One X+.
I am simply amazed by this thing.

The best battery life on the Sammy was 20 hours with everything turned off. With this phone, with every thing off and power saver mode on, it took 50 hours to drop from 100 to 35-40 percent. Wow!

Not to mention how smooth it is and how fast it is. And the screen. Love the screen. Color me impressed and exceedingly happy.
I never heard much about this phone. It's not even on display in the store though it's in the back inventory. The sales reps kept trying to push the Sammy S3 on me. I am so glad I caught wind of this phone on this board before needing a new phone or I would probably be stuck with another Sammy instead of the awesome goodness that is the One X+.

Yeah it's a great phone, but doesn't seem very popular,it's probably because everyone is buying s3,s.

I haven't actually seen it in any shops.

It wasn't marketed very well, and in Canada it was only available on one carrier which greatly limited its appeal. And now that the One is out, it's yesterday's news. Hopefully HTC does a better job marketing the One.

I just checked out the specs on the One. It's pretty impressive but I don't regret getting the One X+.
I don't see the point of 1080p on a 4.7" screen. I can't say for sure but I doubt if I could tell the difference between 720 and 1080 on such a small screen.
Other than the extra GB of ram and of course the chips, it's just new features that don't make a difference to me.

I'm sure though that many will find the One to be perfect for them just like I've found the One X+ to be perfect for me. :)

I'm the same way ... I just don't see the One as being that much of a leap forward. In terms of design I like the looks of the HOX+ much better, but I haven't seen a One in person so that could change. In a way it's kinda funny how much press the One is getting for being barely evolutionary.

I owned a motorola photon up until the moment that they lied about ICS, then replaced that phone with a Galaxy S2. I will never own a samsung phone again.

I got the HTC One X+ and have loved it every step of the way.

HTC is bad ass, but at the time I was getting my old phone, they were wasting time with the 3D phone, so I said no way.
