When searching through all the different plans on the web (Preparing for a switch after my contract is over) I noticed that there were unlimited plans for non smart phones. On ATT you can get a non smartphone plan that has unlimited data for $15 per month.

Could I take the ATT sim card and pop it into a smartphone?

Would ATT know?

I guess no one wants to help you steal service from the carrier.

First, a Verizon phone will not work on At&t unless it is a device with both CDMA and GSM radios, which the Nexus is not. Second, trying to trick a carrier in this way is not something we allow to be discussed on this forum (which is probably why you didn't get any replies). Third, they would find out and either charge you full price or cancel your contract.
