I recently received a replacement phone and swapped it but it turns out to be worse than my original phone. Can I just go online and swap it back and return the replacement phone with the prepaid envelope provided by Virgin Mobile?
 
What problems are you having with your phone? If it is about texts and calls not going through there is a fix for that you can do if you root your phone.

I've already rooted, S-OFFed, flashed new ROM and flashed new radio. It turns out that the replacement phone has a faulty screen. So is it possible? To swap it back to the original phone and return the replacement phone instead? Has anyone done this before?

Because I don't want to replace this replacement phone thus having to return two phones increasing the chance of loss mail and unjustified suspension of my account.
 
Just include a note in the envelope explaining everything and they should be fine with it. Then later on if you want another replacement then just explain what happened with the first replacement. However you have to wait 24 hours in between swapping phones on your account.
 
I've cherry picked numerous times when it came to dealing with all of my Triumph replacements, virgin doesn't care as long as they receive one of the phones.
