On Motorola's Site for the Bionic, it shows all the specs. Well they listed the front facing camera as being a 0.3MP. Does anyone know if that's real?

I've never heard of a camera being that low. the 1.3 cam on my computer sucks and i can't imagine a 0.3mp. If it's real, that's very disappointing. I couldn't imagine why Motorola would put such a crappy camera on their next flagship phone. One of the reasons i'm upgrading to this phone is the dual processors and a front facing camera (have droid x right now)

You're gonna be really disappointed when you find out that 720p HD video is only .91 megapixels then.

The front facing camera is set up to be used only for webcam chatting. It is a VGA camera which means the resolution is 640x480 which is essentially the video resolution of an SD television program. I'm guessing the reason they didn't go with HD streaming (or the whopping .91 MP camera mentioned above) is due to bandwidth restrictions.
 
oh I'm not a big tech camera guy so I wasn't aware of that. I just thought since my computers 1.3mp was not good quality that a .3 would be really bad. So you're saying although it's a extremely low mega pixel, it will still be a good quality picture? ( for video chatting)?

that just concerned me b/c I really want the bionic but didn't want people to facetime/tango/whatever me and be like wtf ur camera sucks. esp my diehard iphone friends lol. now if the phone would just come out..that'd be great. I always strive to have the best phone out and I've had the X since the day it came out and it's really killing me to wait for the bionic.
