Help Is this screen burning? help please

I own a galaxy s3 and have had no problems till recently. I noticed a small blackened mark inthe bottom left of the screen one day it kind of looked like a burn the light was dimmer around the effected area and the black spot was hot to the touch. Well over the course of a month or so I noticed the black spot getting bigger and bigger and now its to the point of covering atleast 75% of my entire screen. I can't even make out images inside the blackened area and the entire 75% of the screen that is burned is hot to the touch. I looked up what it could be and everything says to try the screen burn in app. Well it does nothing sadly. I also took it into a phone repair store and they want 315 $ just to fix the screen.

So my question is, is there anyway to fix this without forking out 300 $ or should I scrap the device for a new one.

I have images but am not aloud to post as a new user. All I can tell you is 75 % of my screen looks like its burnt and it is physically hot to the touch. The non burnt area is normal temp but the instant the good area is in contact with the burnt it is hot

Can you try something.. take a screenshot then send it to a friend or look at it on a PC or something, any other screen and see if you can still see the bad area. If so, its a software problem and not the screen.
It doesnt sound like burn-in tbh since the bad bit has grown. Youll usually see burn-in if you use a certain app (like navigation) a lot and a bright part of the image on the app thats constantly there will get burnt in.
Are you still under warranty?

Upload your image to Dropbox or something and PM me the link if you want

I did the screen shot and the picture is normal it must be a screen problem as I mentioned it even gets hot to the touch only on the burn area ill upload the pictire I took of my phone so you have a better idea
